Southwestern Public Health has issued a boil water advisory for residents in the northeast corner of Plattsville following a watermain break on April 29, 2025. The advisory is being issued as a precautionary measure due to the potential for contamination of the drinking water system.

Dr. Ninh Tran, Medical Officer of Health, recommends that all affected residents bring water to a rolling boil for at least one full minute before using it for:

Drinking

Preparing infant formula or juice

Brushing teeth

Washing raw foods

Making ice
