Boil Water Advisory for the Village of Sweaburg Water Supply- including 401 Eastbound Woodstock ONroute

Southwestern Public Health has issued a boil water advisory to consumers of the Village of
Sweaburg Water Supply. This advisory includes the 401 Eastbound Woodstock ONroute. The
reason for the advisory is that the Medical Officer of Health has been advised of water
samples that indicate the presence of bacteria in the water.

Those affected are notified by the County of Oxford and will also be notified when the advisory
is lifted.

Dr. Ninh Tran, Medical Officer of Health, advises all users of the Village of Sweaburg Water
Supply, including the 401 Eastbound Woodstock ONroute to bring water to a rolling boil for at
least one minute before using it for domestic purposes, such as drinking, preparing infant
formula and juice, brushing teeth, washing raw foods, and making ice.
