Dog bite in Tillsonburg on Oct. 15

Southwestern Public Health is seeking assistance in identifying a dog involved in a bite incident that occurred in Tillsonburg on October 15, 2025 between 1:00 and 1:30 p.m., on the Veterans Walkway Trail near Baldwin Street.

The dog is described as a large sized, black dog, with short fur. It was on a walk alongside a large, brown dog with short fur. The dogs were accompanied by two males: one wore a grey t-shirt with jeans and had a bicycle, and the other had dark hair and wore a plaid shirt with black pants.
 
Please note that the dog and its owners are not in trouble at this time. The health unit is seeking information about the dog to verify its rabies vaccine history.
