The Needle Exchange Program (NEP) is part of Ontario’s harm reduction program and is offered by Southwestern Public Health to provide sterile, single use equipment to help prevent the spread of HIV, Hepatitis C and Hepatitis B. Our services are free and confidential.

- Sterile Water
- Alcohol swabs
- Non-latex Tourniquets
- Safer inhalation kits
- Snorting Kits
- Vitamin C
- Condoms
- Dental Dams
- Educational Resources
- Testing for any Blood Borne Infections or STI’s
- Used needle disposal (see how to dispose of dirty needles safely below)
Although clients are encouraged to return any used equipment they are not required to ‘trade in’ used equipment for new supplies.
