Tobacco & E-Cigarette Retailers

Southwestern Public Health enforces the Smoke-Free Ontario Act (SFOA) to help reduce youth access to tobacco and electronic cigarettes and to protect the public from second-hand smoke. Southwestern Public Health is responsible for inspecting all tobacco and e-cigarettes retailers and all retail locations in the Southwestern Public Health jurisdiction. Progressive enforcement is applied before charges are issued including education and warnings.
