Food Access in Schools

Many people with low income are forced to stretch their dollars to cover essentials like rent, bills, and transportation. This often means cutting back on groceries. Over time, not getting enough nutritious food can affect a person’s physical health, mental well-being, and ability to connect with others.

If a family/student at your school needs support accessing food in their community, refer to our Local Food Programs and Services webpage.
