Environment Canada is forecasting the first heat event of the season starting Monday afternoon and continuing into Tuesday. Daytime highs will be near 30 degrees Celsius, and humidex values near 36. Overnight low temperatures are expected to be near 20 degrees Celsius. This heat event is expected to end Tuesday night.
